The short version
SOLO contractor keeps your work on your device and syncs it to an account we host for you, so it survives a lost phone or a reinstall. We do not sell your data, do not advertise in the app, and do not track you across other apps. The sections below say exactly what is stored, who else touches it, and how to get rid of it.
What we store
Your account details (name, company name, and email address), your projects and the customer details you enter on them (including names, phone numbers, and job site addresses), jobsite photos, receipts, estimates, invoices, change orders, schedule entries, to-dos, and notes. All of it is saved on your device and synced to your account so you can restore it on a new phone.
Where it is stored
Your account data is hosted on Supabase, in the United States. Photos and receipt images are stored in Supabase Storage; everything else is stored in a Supabase database. Access is restricted to your own account by database rules — other users of the app cannot read your data.
Your password
Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth and are never stored in the app or visible to us. If you use Face ID to unlock the app, that check happens on your device and no biometric data is sent anywhere.
Camera, photo library, and location
Camera and photo library access is used only to attach jobsite photos and receipts to a project. Those images are stored in your account, the same as the rest of your data. Location access is used in two places, both of which you start yourself: to fill in a job site address when you tap "Use current location", and to record where a photo was taken if you turn on "Add location to photos" on the camera screen. When that is on, the coordinates and a short address are saved with each photo you take, in your account, alongside the rest of that project. Photos you pick from your library are never given a location. You can turn it off at any time on the camera screen, and your location is never read in the background or collected when you are not using the app.
Service providers
A small number of companies process data on our behalf, and only for the function described: Supabase hosts your account, database, and photo storage in the United States. Geoapify receives the address text you type into a job site address field to return autocomplete suggestions. Anthropic processes receipt images if you use AI receipt scanning. RevenueCat and Apple handle subscription purchases and receipts. None of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
AI receipt scanning
If you use AI receipt scanning (a SOLO Pro Extra feature), the receipt image you capture is sent to Anthropic to read the vendor, amount, and date so the form can be filled in for you. Anthropic does not use data submitted through its API to train its models. The feature is optional — every field it fills in stays editable, and you can always enter a receipt by hand instead.
No analytics or advertising
This app does not collect usage analytics, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Support access
A small number of our staff can look up account data when it is needed to answer a support request you have made or to investigate a fault you have reported. That access is limited to support and troubleshooting, is not used for any other purpose, and is not used to browse accounts that have not asked for help.
How long we keep your data
We keep your data for as long as your account is in use. If an account goes unused for 90 days, it is scheduled for deletion and its data is no longer available in the app; signing in within the following 15 days brings it back, and after that it is permanently deleted.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from Settings → Delete account. Your data is removed from the app and scheduled for permanent deletion 15 days later; signing back in during that window restores your account. After 15 days it is deleted permanently and cannot be recovered. Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription — cancel that separately in your device’s subscription settings, or billing continues.
Deleting individual items
Deleting a project, photo, or receipt in the app removes it from your device and from your account. Archiving a project is the reversible alternative; deleting is not.
Backups and exports
Settings → Backup & restore exports a copy of your data as a file. That file is created on your device and only leaves it if you choose to save or share it — the app never uploads it anywhere on its own, and once you share it, it is outside our control.
Contacting support
Help & Support and Send Feedback open your device’s own email app with a message you write. Only what you type is sent — the app does not attach your data or device information automatically.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above tells you which version you are reading, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy. Questions about any of this can go to wilderness0213@gmail.com. Effective August 12, 2026.
About this website
Everything above is the app's privacy policy — the same text you can read inside the app. This marketing site is separate, and it does collect one thing the app does not.
These pages load the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel. Opening a page tells Meta which page you looked at and its title, along with the address that referred you, your browser and screen size, and your IP address, and it stores a cookie (_fbp) in your browser. Clicking a Download button sends one further event recording that the click happened. It is here for one reason: to measure whether the ads we pay for lead anywhere. It receives nothing you type, and it has no access to anything held in the app or in your account.
If you would rather not be measured: any browser content blocker or tracking-protection setting stops the pixel from loading, and you can limit how Meta uses advertising data from your own Meta account's ad preferences. Blocking it changes nothing else about this site or the app.
